Fire Alarm

Fire Alarm System

A fire alarm system comprises various devices working collaboratively to detect and alert individuals using visual and auditory components in the presence of smoke, fire, carbon monoxide, or other emergencies. Activation may occur automatically through devices like smoke detectors and heat detectors or via manual initiation using fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations. The alarms can manifest as motorized bells, wall-mounted sounders, horns, or speaker strobes. Speaker strobes not only sound alarms but also deliver voice evacuation messages, advising occupants not to use elevators. Fire alarm sounders can emit different tones, including low, medium, and high frequencies, varying by country and device manufacturer.

  • Swiftly identify the fire's location.
  • The user can program specific actions.
  • Decreased probability of false alarms and improved handling.
  • More reliability, less likely to lose connection.
  • Lower overall cost of wiring.
