AMC System

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), alternatively referred to as Annual Maintenance Charges, is a service provided by manufacturers after sales, establishing a connection between buyers and suppliers. This contractual agreement entails manufacturers offering maintenance services for their valuable products to ensure their optimal functionality. The primary objective of an Annual Maintenance Contract is to guarantee the continuous and efficient operation of critical equipment such as fire hydrants, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and other systems on a 24x7 basis. Businesses subscribing to AMC benefit from comprehensive maintenance, addressing any hardware or software issues seamlessly. The AMC services are available at a minimal fixed price, payable on a yearly basis.

Fire equipment, including fire hydrants, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and other systems, constitutes a crucial element in any fire protection setup, necessitating the utmost care and maintenance. The current trend sees property owners outsourcing this technically demanding responsibility. Unfortunately, the fiercely competitive landscape and property owners' anticipation of unrealistically low prices have at times hindered maintenance contractors from providing the expected standard of service. Consequently, the delivered level of care and maintenance may decline to a degree that jeopardizes the system's integrity, posing risks to the safety of occupants and property.

A Fire Projects engineer, equipped with extensive expertise in fire systems, conducts the servicing of fire equipment in accordance with established service guidelines. We recommend regular maintenance of your fire equipment system on a monthly or quarterly basis, but the customer has the flexibility to choose the duration for the maintenance contract based on their risk assessment. There are two types of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs): 1) Comprehensive AMCs and 2) Non-comprehensive/Call basis AMCs. Comprehensive AMCs are further categorized into two parts—one that covers the repair and replacement of faulty system parts for a lump sum price.
